Florence San appointed into UCL’s school of management inaugural advisory board

Chief Operating Officer and Lead Strategy Consultant at Ren San and Co., Florence San has been announced as an inaugural member of the School of Management, University College London (UCL) International Advisory Board.

Bringing on a diverse wealth of business expertise, San’s appointment comes at a time when the School of Business is bolstering its vision for the future of innovation and social entrepreneurship.

Speaking at the inauguration of the board, UCL School of Management, Prof. Davide Ravasi said: “As the UCL School of Management enters a new phase in its life, we trust our Advisory Board to help our educational offer remain relevant for business and society, and help our school maintain a strong connection with industry, finance and the third sector, at home and internationally.”

As an associate alumni of Cambridge Judge Business School, Florence’s track record includes providing guidance and seamless strategy execution for over 500 SME founders and conducting effective workplace training for more than 2,000 staff members.

According to the School of Management, the board, made up of 12 external members and five internal members, will meet twice a year, as part of their efforts to ensure the school produces world-class talents equipped to disrupt and innovate the world of business.

Alongside an outstanding cadre of business executives, including CEO at Canary Wharf Group, Shobi Kan; founder at Ambessa Play, Sara Berkai, and more, San will work to shape the future of research, business education and industry engagement at the School of Management,University College London.

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, she serves as the Director of ‘Thrive,’ an annual community event focused on empowering young women to overcome challenges and achieve success in both personal and professional capacities.
