The Fun Un To International Academy Old Students Association (FIAOSA), based in Ilesha, Osun State, has taken a bold step towards humanitarianism with its innovative inter-school debate scholarship initiative. Revitalizing their association, FIAOSA aims to positively impact students’ lives by addressing critical issues such as sexual immorality and teenage pregnancies through engaging debates.
Scheduled for June 2024, the competition targets students from public schools, particularly those facing financial hardships, offering them a pathway to a brighter future unburdened by financial constraints. Beyond the debate, participants will benefit from seminars led by career experts, covering topics such as academic excellence and moral integrity.
Under the guidance of the newly formed Project Committee, the initiative aims for resounding success, supported by collaboration among various committees including Social, Welfare, and Public Relations.
Flyers promoting moral excellence will be distributed in schools, reinforcing the message among students. Winners of the debate competition will receive scholarships, covering WAEC and JAMB fees, while all participants will receive valuable study materials and certificates of participation.
President Emmanuel Fadipe, alongside his dedicated team, including Mr. Owoeye, Madam Opeyemi Fadahunsi, and Mr. Babatunde, envisions a legacy of impactful initiatives and inclusive collaboration. Despite the closure of Fun Un To International Academy, FIAOSA remains committed to fostering a supportive environment for its members and making a lasting impact on society.
